Anthony Joshua Discharged from Hospital in Nigeria Following Deadly Car Crash
The British boxer Anthony Joshua has been released from care, local government spokespeople stated on Wednesday evening. The fighter was part of a serious road collision in the Lagos area on Monday, a tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of two of his close associates.
Healing from Light Wounds
The boxer had remained in the hospital while healing from his light wounds, his management team stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, said in a statement online that Joshua was declared medically stable to continue his recovery at home.
“Anthony and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two departed friends as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the commissioner stated.

Those who lost their lives were named as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the athlete was heartbroken and full of emotions over the loss of his two dear friends.”
