Per the analysis, as of February this period, at least 86 million e-cigarette consumers were mature individuals, mostly in high-income countries.

And at least 15 million teenagers between the ages of 13 and 15 currently vape, per studies from 123 nations.

Although several nations have made efforts to establish e-cigarette regulations to combat underage vaping in the past few years, by the end of 2024, 62 nations even now had no regulation in operation, and 74 countries had no age restriction at which e-cigarettes are allowed to be bought, says the public health organization.
